UHF wristbands with Alien Higgs 9 chips are very comfortable to wear silicone wristbands for verifying user identity or other RFID applications that require long operating distances.
Because they are made like a wristwatch, the size can be easily adjusted to the user. The wristbands are waterproof and they can also be washed with soap or disinfected with any disinfectant.
Alien Higgs™ 9 chips work on the worldwide UHF frequency range (860 MHz to 960 MHz) and are compliant to GS1 Class 1 Gen 2 and ISO/IEC 18000-6C.
A pre-programmed unique, unalterable 48-bit serial number and Dynamic Authentication™ anti-cloning/anti-counterfeit technology ensures the transponder authenticity and safe use.
The Alien H9 chips use a Sentinel MemoryTM bit error correction technology which detects and fixes single bit errors and flags dual bit errors. This technology guarantees immunity to typical sources of single bit errors, like the chip damage, low power, etc.
An expandable EPC from the common 96 bit to 496 bits allows additional 400 bits for storing of larger identifying information.
The additional 600 bits of user memory is perfect for storing asset data, service history, usage info etc.
Alien Higgs 9 chips are fully backward compatible with the entire Alien chip and
reader portfolio.
The wristband reading distance depends on the strength of the reader signal and can be from couple of centimeters to more than 5 meters.

If you need the color which is not available in our web shop, we can produce the wristbands with specific color accordingly to the number from Pantone scale.
RFID Wristbands with custom print or serialization
Material like silicone is not suitable for printing with a regular UV technology because the colors wear off easily. When printing on silicone wristbands we have to use special printing technology and special colors. This way we can print the company logo or serial numbers.

There are a lot of different RFID chips and they differ in operating frequency, the amount of memory, reading distance, supported protocols, additional protection, or other functionalities.

Reading test for UHF wristbands with Alien Higgs 9 chips
We have tested our UHF wristbands with different kinds of readers and measured the reading distances. This is not an official test, but it was made to inform you what reading distances you may expect with your application.
The reading distance between the card and the reader is affected by many different factors, like the size of the antennas and quality of the chips, the interferences of metal, and electromagnetic signals, etc.
