INFO

Wooden NFC tags are an excellent choice for those who are aware of the environmental impact and are looking for environmentally friendly alternatives to plastic NFC tags.

The dimension of the wooden NFC tiles is 65x110 mm, with a thickness of 5 mm.

You can choose the wooden tags from our stock without any printing, or you can send us an inquiry for tags with printing or other customization.

We usually print only the logo and necessary information using black or colored ink, leaving most of the tag without printing to showcase the wood texture and maintain their biodegradability.

Wooden NFC tags contain the NTAG213 chip, which is one of the most commonly used NFC chips and operates according to the ISO14443A protocol (NFC Forum Type 2).

The NTAG213 NFC chip contains a programmed unique ID number, typically read as a 14-digit hexadecimal code, which many NFC applications use for authentication purposes.
In addition to the chip's ID code, NTAG213 chips also have a memory size of 144 bytes that can be used to store a custom URL address, text, and other data.

NTAG chips can be programmed using an NFC-enabled smartphone and free applications such as NFC Tools, NXP Tag Writer, and others.
