Mifare DESFire® EV3 RFID key fobs are most commonly used in advanced door opening systems, and user identification in applications requiring a higher level of security.
MIFARE DESFire EV3 RFID key fobs typically have a teardrop-shaped housing made of plastic material (ABS) and measure 40 x 32 x 3.5 mm. The key fob also includes a metal ring, making it easy to attach to keys or other keychains.

Key fobs from stock come without numbers or other printed elements, but if you need key fob printing, let us know, and we will send you an offer.
You can also order custom RFID key fobs with housings in different colors or shapes. We can print your company's logo, serial number, or chip ID code on the key fobs.
Since the chip ID code can be read in more than 50 different ways, we take special care to print the code in the correct format. Many NFC devices (including NFC phones and tablets) read the chip ID in a 14-digit hexadecimal number (known as the 14 HEX Reverse Byte format).
MIFARE DESFire® chips are manufactured by the renowned chip manufacturer NXP Semiconductors and are the most popular NFC type 4 chips (chips for secure transactions).

MIFARE DESFire EV3 is the successor to MIFARE DESFire EV2 and offers even more advanced hardware and software implementation.
MIFARE DESFire EV3 includes all known commands and functions from the MIFARE DESFire EV2 system and adds some new features, such as a transaction timer and secure dynamic messaging.
