NFC cards with a hole are special NFC cards that can be hung on a lanyard or used for labeling devices and similar purposes.

Ordinary NFC cards should not be punched because the antenna usually runs along the edges of the cards or within a 1 cm band from the edge.

NFC cards contain an NTAG213 chip, compliant with the ISO14443 A standard (NFC Type 2).
