INFO
The main difference between RFID MIFARE DESFire chips with 70pF and 17pF capacitance is that 70pF chips allow for larger antennas, thus achieving greater reading distances and improved responsiveness.
The MIFARE DESFire EV2 8k 70pF chip is manufactured by NXP and is a Type 4 NFC chip compliant with RFID protocol ISO/IEC 14443-4A, suitable for high-security applications.
The chip includes a 7-byte unique identifier (UID) and 8 kB of memory.
The cards are bright white without printed numbers or other elements. The top layers are suitable for printing with all types of card printers (thermal transfer or thermal retransfer printers).
For background images or detailed graphics, we recommend thermal retransfer printers. QR code serialization, barcodes, numbering, or personalized names can be printed using any card printer.
If you need 500 or more printed cards, offset printing during the production process is generally more cost-effective.
This type of printing requires specialized equipment, typically performed by specialized card manufacturers.
We usually employ digital CMYK printing, combined with screen printing for Pantone colors or special metallic effects (gold, silver, glitter, etc.).
