Example Use Case of the USB-WG Converter

If a company already has a time and attendance system that uses specific RFID cards, the USB-WG converter can be used to connect a USB reader (acting as a keyboard emulator) to an access control controller. This allows the same cards to also be used for door access.

Example of converting a 10-digit decimal code to Wiegand 26-bit or Wiegand 34-bit format:

4-byte ID code: 1010795316 (10 DEC) = (hex) 3C3F8334

WG26 input (hex): 3F8334 (last 6 digits)

WG34 input (hex): 3C3F8334 (all 8 digits)
