MIFARE® DESFire® EV2 cards come with 2kB, 4kB or 8kB of userspace memory. These cards offer highest grade of data protection among RFID chips.

They come with hardware and software protection. MIFARE® DESFire® can be read with RFID and NFC readers compatible with ISO 14443A. NFC mobile phones also read these cards.

MIFARE® DESFire® cards are very useful as they can contain 28 different applications and up to 32 files per application (depending on file sizes). Best for use in in environments where highest level of security is required (e.g. e-payment systems, access control, etc.).
