INFO
ICODE® SLIX2 chips are the new generation of ICODE SLIX chips and differ from their predecessor by having larger memory (2,560 bits) and additional functionalities that make them even more interesting for use in solutions for item tracking, inventory management, object identification, and similar NFC applications that require responsive NFC chips.
A special feature of these chips is that they operate according to the ISO 15693 protocol (NFC Type 5 chips), and with special equipment, a reading distance of up to 1.5 meters can be achieved. The usual reading distance with a mobile phone is approximately 5 cm.
Before purchasing NFC readers to work with these chips, it is necessary to ensure that the selected readers support the ISO 15693 protocol, as common NFC readers more frequently support other NFC protocols.
Our labels with the ICODE® SLIX2 chip measure 80x50 mm. The top layer is a white plastic film made of PET material, and they are suitable for use on non-metallic surfaces (plastic, wood, glass, etc.).
Each chip has a pre-programmed UID (unique ID), which is the simplest identifier for use in an application for the quick identification of users or equipment.
