MIFARE Plus® RFID cards provide a higher level of security compared to other standard RFID chips (e.g. MIFARE Classic® 1K). MIFARE Plus® uses AES-128 (Advanced Encryption Standard) for authentication, data integrity and encryption. Cards are suitable for use in environments where a higher level of security is required (e.g. e-payment, access control, etc.).

Cards are available in a 1K or in a 4K memory version.
