It provides a Self-Adjust Feature, a Product Status Flag for Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) application, pre-serialized 96-bit EPC, Brand Identifier, and the EPC Gen2v2 compliant Untraceable command.

RFID stickers/labels with the UCODE 8 chip are used for tracking products along the supply chain (from source to store), any high-speed store checkout process, and has user or asset identification at longer distances than other RFID chips.

UHF chips UCODE 8 are made by NXP Semiconductors and are very popular chips for UHF tags, UHF stickers/labels, UHF cards, and UHF wristbands.

They operate on a frequency range of 860 MHz to 960 MHz and are compatible with the UHF standards EPC Gen2v2, the Specification for RFID Air interface, and other worldwide regulations.

UCODE 8 chips are particularly well suited for inventory management, and they support the EAS (Electronic Article Surveillance) applications and the mandatory commands like the ‘Kill Command’ which guarantees a user privacy after the chip has done its job.

When a tracked item is purchased, the chip can be electronically killed and it cannot be used for unauthorized people tracking.
