Promag MF7-20 is wall-mounted proximity reader which reads the UID from 13,56 MHz chips MIFARE® Classic, Ultralight and DESFire.

You can install it on metal surface and it is weather resistant.

It supports 3 communication protocols: Wiegand 26 bits, MSR ABA TK2 and RS232.

Usually it is used with access control devices or for other identification purposes.

The MF7 is compatible with ISO14443A standard series and operates between 5V and 18V. Under optimal conditions, the reading distance is up to 50 mm. It also contains an LED and buzzer speaker which can be freely programmed.
