RFID labels with the TK4100 chip operate at a frequency of 125 kHz and contain a read-only chip, which is often used for user identification, access control, and similar RFID applications.

The chip contains a pre-programmed ID number, which readers interpret as a 10-digit decimal number or an 8-digit hexadecimal number. These chips cannot be reprogrammed.
